The only reason mormons go bald is because of stress from the mission lol
but...........Vai ser vale a pena ;-)
One of those busy weeks again with a ton to say. Same With all of you?
Before i forget some fun facts: E Gillette´s (my LD) aunt is Sis Thompson
who spoke at Conference and even cooler (i think...from a none spiritual stand
point) my comp´s best best friend´s uncle is the lead singer for The Killers.
Apparently there on like first name bases to, which, makes it really confusing
when he tells storys and always says ´´Brandon´´ and ipm like what? who´s Brandon?
o the lead singer dude, got it.
No futebol was played today, no by me atleast But thats ok cause i was
spend good time at the World Famous Sergipe Zoo!!! Actually the entire event
made me miss forest park quite a bit. Upon arriving there and walking around,
it was, at times, hard to tell what or who was on display; they animals, or the
four random Americans walking around, lol. Afterwards we walked all the way
out across the giant bridge that spands arcoss the river here. Fun stuff.
Important: Which England team does Roger from pasta house cheer for? This
is very important, can someone go find out for me? Is it Cheslsey? Or Liverpool?
Please not Manchester United
Interviews were this week and now the missionarys here in Maceió mission
are rolling with cellphones, something that’s been promised sense the beginning
of time. (kinda like a Silky´s credit card machian promise that almost never
happened) Anywayz it was pretty hard to sleep the night before because of me
knowledge as to the pontential mail amount. It literally was like trying to
sleep the night before Christmas and I certainly wasn´t let down. Thanks to
everyone (truly everyone). I got news from all around the world , including
Brazil, Canada, USA and Englandw, awesome.
Random: Freezer pops, beaver pops, doesn´t mater what you call them, they
will never be as good as Geladinhos!!!
So, I feel nothing I could say this week would obviously even come close to
those things said at conference. However I would like to point out my favorite
parts (of what I got to hear) were certainly from Uchdorf, Holand (prolly my
favorite Apostlo ever sense the CTM) and Perry. E Tom Perry´s talk had all
the missionaries looking over their shoulders and throwing winks across the
capela. Also, let me just say, I totally calld Anderson being th new apostle,
tho i´m sure everyone ele did too, (IVE SHAKEN HIS HAND! That makes 3 apostlos).
I can´t wait to read and reread al the talks again in both English (please)
and Português as well.
(PS Conference intermission was trunky with college stuff and 2nd session
pretty much showed my view of the Logan temple all year from my old dorm room)
Well to close this week I just have some fun scriptures. Sorry, weak on
the spiritual thought this week but conference is really all you need. Anyway
I find it interesting that Moroni 10;5 is the first scripture I ever memorized
and I know have the opportunity, privaliege really, to read it everyday and
invite ppl to the gospel. Along with this scripture, I believe my other
favorite message this week, (this one I gave with members) comes from 2nd
Néfi 32. The last to versus are great, but I would certainly incourage each
of you to read the intire chapter (sholdn´t take to long). Read it an tell
me what you think, then i´ll tell you what I think. Lastly D&C 128 22-23
then pause, think about it and depois continua on to verse 24. Its just
gorgeous. I absoloutly love those versus with all my heart, they are so
powerful and true.
I love hearing from each of you and love when you add in things for me to
pray for or let me know about ppl who could use help. I hope that means
that all of you are remembering to pray as well
