So my question of the week is who is the sly guy that invented the game hang man? At what point did why think it would be and excellent idea to teach americans youth the art of spelling by.....hanging a guy? I´m a bit confused and.....slightly offended. But all get over it i guess, playing much more uplifting games like patty cake.
How´s Life?
Prolly not as nearly as goo as my day today. Why? o well maybe because i just got one (what for it)....Paint balling! Yep about 13 of us threw down a swell game of paint the man in Tabulera hoje. And because whenever we play futebol the brazy´s love to cal Brasil vs USA we called the same in the arena hoje. Massa!! Are win count was rediculas as me whitehead, bevan and kartchner threw down a little SWAT statistics. I think i got about 7-10 out and that includes 2-3 barel tags. No big deal.
Now as for the funniest part of the week, we´ll halfta go back a few days (monday i think) Usually me an my comp got even take dinner hours because ou are is to big to go back home, but lunch was close the other day so we opted to take a quick break afterwards.....I not sure that´s what the Lord had in mind. As soon as my eyes start to shut for a short nap my comp starts knocking on the wall. i was like ´´Dude you can come in´´ no response, more knocking, ´´OMG what´´
´´Uhg Elder neuberger.....we have a problem.´´ Getting up and exiting our bedroom i step into a puddle of water only to look up at my comp holing what looks like a hose under the sink. Turns out the hose of our sink had disconnected and we have no major water valve to turn off the water in our house. So i sat there aiming the hose into the shower (don´t even wanna know water our water bill will be this month) he atempeed to f

figure out how to piece everything back together. Well by the time
we took care of it all and got dryd off...it was just time to heaf back
out to the heat, lol. O well,.
Our activity with the ward went well this past week. Th biggest
turn out they ever had. Sunday and Saturday i put all my efforts
together to make an awesome posterboar of the activity for others to see
what they missed. Its amazing what you can do with a piece of
cardboard photos and the bag they come in, lol, in fact it turned out
really well and we got lots of positive comments.
This week me and my comp left our house both dias with baptisms
forms, in order to more there give ppl the idea that such things are in
reach. Thought we didn´t mark any baptisms for this week, i was
impressed at the more respective response everyone had to our message,
as if was even more personal.
Then talking to a lady in the street we starting talking about
how God never changes, so why would his church? Just like making bread
you always need to use the right ingredients, without flower it just
doesn´t work. Without prophet and apostles.....It just doesn´t work.
However what makes me sad is how many conversations here end with the
person going ´´yeah your prolly right, but its just so much easier to go
to my church on the corner. :-(
In other news i was in line to give a talk in church this week.
However ever when we got there we were told that only one of us was
going to be able to speak. So i let the Spirit decide by flipping a
coin and my comp went. I was kinda said about the whole thing, but
later realized how many opportunities this week i would be able to not
only share my message but better it.
The talk was based on Pray and the simple idea of Know, Open,
Search, Find. To be honest the entire thing sounds a lot better in
portugese but regardless of language Elder Wirthlin who gives 6 ideas to
better our prayers.1 Don´t Over Worry Yourself 2 Believe in the Lord 3
Do Good 4 Delight in the Lord 5 Deliver Yourself to the Lord 6 Relax in
the Lord. To get the effect you halfta read the rest of the talk but
(Liahona Aug 2004) for me the talk just came to life more and more
throughout the week. I have a strong testimony that through oraçâo we
can secure blessing the lord has in store for us. Although sometime we
are not fully enlightened as respects to his time table, when we ask he
will open, and always send answers. Never doubt in Him, but express
your doubts to Him
