Could this interenet be any slower, answer NO. But that's ok because not only
did my team draw first blood in futebol this smorning but the score board
showed GOAL NEUBERGER - ASSISTS CRAPALDI. Our team went on to win and i
scored a again after out maneuvering a few ppl and actually dribbling the ball
right up to goal line and then slamming it in JA ERA just to rub it in a few
brazy faces. Love them
So how are all of you?
I´m gunna be honest i have a lot of letter writing to do after this. But i
no worries it will get done. Side Note send pens. I dunno why pens are so
costly here. Personally i´d just be happy with free pens, those are the best
kinds. Or the ones you just find on the ground.
Remember Carpet? yeah....miss that. And A/C? Does A/c even exist?its
been to long with out it to remember
Well this week started off pretty crazy as one of the missionaries from
the other ala in our ward had to leave (not for anything bad) and so we spent
a day running around figuring all that out and now a gente esta in trio. It
was fun tho i spent the majority of that day in the Black´s home, a very
recent mission couple, translating for Sis Black who doesn´t no portuguese...
at all. Btw i will say this, the mission is about 20 brasilian (get it?)
times funner being able to understand everything people are saying even if
my responses arn´t super fast. I dunno what happened when i crossed over to
Sergipie but its wonderful and now i´m understand pretty much everything. WAHOO!!
I think my favorite part of that hectic day was our trip to the bus station
and then having to pus our taxi caba few meters to get it going afterwards
when we were leaving, lol oh....brasil.
Sexta Fera was Integration night that my comp set up. The three of use
(Elder Crapaldi is the addition, another Brazy, YA POIS) all helped prepare
food for the activity. This made me surprisingly hot (i know i know, i´m
always hot ;-) lol jk) but anyways while peeling potatoes and dicing them i
began to get sweet in my eyes. On top on this a lady was dicing an onion
next to me. Now i´ve never cried because of an onion, but.....WOW, lol i
don´t think ip´ve ever cried this much while smiling in my life (ok thats a
lie, but almost) Its was Rediculas, lol, in fact the Mulher got embarrassed
enough that she changed rooms to dice the onion, oops? Hilarious tho
Integration night was pretty much a variety show and the ym yw put on a
great skit that had me rolling. It was just a random story that they went
through in different uh...ways? like fast slow mo, happy, crying. Yeah it
was great. Us missionaries (we invited another duplo) acted out Nephi getting
the plates and that woçething ison video, so someday you´ll se it. ENtão the
whole thing went great and everyone mingled for ever afterwards, members non
members and less actives alike. IT WAS GREAT
Sabado was the fair. Apparently they have a fair every sabado here but for
me this was a super exciting event. We only brought 10 reais with us, like
3.50 in real money(woops did i just say that?) Anyways we spent it all on
fruit, (pause for efect) folks....i am now swimming in fruit at home. Which
btw makes it a little uncomfortable to sleep although the water melons
stacked between me and my comp do muffle the snores quiet a bit thankfully.
lol jk but our fridge is stacked full of ruit and the we have a ton of
bananas and marucuja outside of that as well. Pretty much its awesome,
and i love fruit
Every Brazilian child is fascinated by my wart on my hand. Its not even
that big but it happens enough that i had to look up that word in Portuguese
this week.
Ok ok, the night ski here.....wow. Our town isn´t that close to the real
cite so at night the starts are gorgeous. I just wanna camp out every night
Church was Domingo of course and our building sure puts the phrase open
doors to work. We don´t have air conditioning so all the double doors are
wide open to create breezes and you practically feel like your outside.
Eating shrimp here is like eating a bug. I had to close my eyes to be
honest, and i love shrimp. But something about eating it with eyeballs and
antennas just kinda got to me lol
Well lastly i just want to say that i think my favorite part of the Book
of Mormon, or at least in the top ten maybe, is the Intro. Its only about
a page long and there´s no reason for anyone to not have time to read it
real quickly. I v=even read it real quick to trhose woh can ´t read. Its
so powerful that everyone is invited to experiment upon the words of those
prophets that wrote that book. my companion made a fun point this week and
we were giving a message, that Christ never wrote a word of the bible but
those prophets wrote of his teaching for him just like those prophets did in
the Book of Mormon when He visited the Americas.
Well i certainly hope you all remember to pray always and keep a pray in
your heart through out the day. We´re all so blessed (heck i found 5 centavos
the other day) so remember to be grateful and thank the Lord for all that we have.

PS Brasil shut out Italia yesterday 2-0 and yeah, awesome. Futebol is
incredible. Why wouldn´t you follow a sport that continuously has every
country competing to figure out wo´s the best with like a thousand other
side tournaments in between. Awesomeness
