....hmm, i got nothing. Call me
Everything wrapped and ready?
Guna be a little honest, its all most impossible to right today and without
purpose. The fact that all call home in two days is a little disanimating.
But some fun events of the week:
Our investigator took a hanky to church this week know that they´d feel the
spirit enough to cry. I´m still not sure whose faith is strengthened more
each time we meet, her´s or mine.
Alías, the best part was prez visited our church this week and gave the
last talk in sacrament meeting as well as the sunday school lesson. All
very exciting except in the rush to go to church we....
....Got, LOCKED INTO OUR HOUSE!!! Yep, that´s sadly true. You see the
power went out like during our exit prayer and you press an electronic
button to open the gate.... yikes. Luckily after looking around ten minutes
we found someone with a regular key to the door. Still im´not sure the
prez was too pleased to see 2 elders walk in to sacrament late from the
stand....that burning stare...tssss. lol.
I think its important to note that i´ve only eaten chocolate this week as
most of our lunches have fallen threw. i think its a pretty healthy diet.
Anyway i just hope every has and excellent Natal and that all is merry
and bright. This season i keep finding my self fall back on one in
particular story Megan King told me from her trip to Peru; One day they
were giving away clothes to the children. every one got two shirts i
believe. So as one after one the child came threw the line a little girl
finally arrived at the from a onde Megan was. As she went to let the
little girl take 2 shirts she just couldn´t seem to let or make her except
both. She would only take one.
Finally after trying her best to explain to the girl in broken Spanish
that it was to take 2 shirts, she finally called over a translator and was
soon humbled to discover what the little child had been saying when the
translator explained, ´´She won´t take two because she know that that
means some one at the end of the line will only receive one or none at all.´´
That story moves me just as much now as it did when i heard it. I hope
we can all remember and take upon us such a giving spirit this season. its
not what we get that we´ll remember nearly as much as wat we give.
FELIZ NATAL!!!!
