O Que Aconteceu Com Esta Transferecia?

9/23/2009
Hey Everyone
I´m sorry if this letter is lame, but i´m still suprised that another week has
already pasted by, not to mention this transfer. I seriously can´t remember
like....like this week seems lke an entire blurr. All i know is that i´m really
tired and that after sunday night i´m a little hesitant to eat salad ate another
member lunch.......yeah.....
I dunno if anyone saw that phillies replay with the baby girl throwing the
caught ball back to the crowd but that was classic American magic and i´m almost
laughing when i saw it pass during the sporting news HERE IN BRASIL!!! at a
lunch last week. Even the brasys found a little graça in it, but not nearly
as much as me.
This week was another week off painting, as a four man team we painted an
entire giant wall, actually it would prolly be better described as the great
wall of china that a member had preparada pra nos. Maybe thats why this week
went by so fast, because i was never em casa, not even most mornings this week.
Anyways the next project was at Rejanes house where me and my comp did an
excellent paint job and furniture shifting. Prolly the funniest part was as
we went to move a wardrobe i started to pick it up when i saw something larger
than my hand do one of those jitter spider leg walks in my direction. =
I didn´t drop anything but i won´t deny the little girl like yelp that got
caught somewhere in my throat as i half tried to swallow shrik that was about
to leave my mouth for what turned out to just be a fun loving lizard. O well,
it was go for a pretty solid laugh.
We had a excellent integration night at the church sat. I think the second
best part was watching a recent covert of some 60 odd years win musical chairs.
lol, Vc é doido, hein?
However the miracle of miracles and first greatest thing that night was the
arrival of a very old investigator of mine with 9drum roll) her ´´husband´´
Now you must know, this guy has like never talked to us and much less let her
talk to us while he has been around the house. So to see him there nearly
blew me over (sorry, i´m sure theres a cooler way to say that) Anyways my
comp who was less aware of the situation and reality of what was going on
casually told me, ´´Oh yeah i invited them they other day and they told me
their gunna get married in December´´ in a no big deal kinda tone. As he
tossed this at me with out the slightest blink of an eye i all but lost my
breath. Hpw awesome to see such great progression after more than 4 months
of stopping and making visits at that house.
Anyway i´ve lately decided some of my favorite things to read are the late
talks of the ever wise Joseph B Worthlin. As a short message i´d like to
leave you with a few quotes from a conference talk, he once gave, today.
(assuming lds.org loads in my life time here)
´´Love is the beginning, the middle, and the end of the pathway of
discipleship. It comforts, counsels, cures, and consoles. It leads us through
valleys of darkness and through the veil of death. In the end love leads us
to the glory and grandeur of eternal life...Sometimes the greatest love is
not found in the dramatic scenes that poets and writers immortalize. Often,
the greatest manifestations of love are the simple acts of kindness and
caring we extend to those we meet along the path of life.
True love lasts forever. It is eternally patient and forgiving. It believes,
hopes, and endures all things. That is the love our Heavenly Father bears for us.
We all yearn to experience love like this. Even when we make mistakes, we
hope others will love us in spite of our shortcomings—even if we don’t deserve it.
Oh, it is wonderful to know that our Heavenly Father loves us—even with
all our flaws! His love is such that even should we give up on ourselves,
He never will.
  Do you love the Lord?

Spend time with Him. Meditate on His words. Take His yoke upon you. Seek to
understand and obey, because “this is the love of God, that we keep his
commandments.”16 When we love the Lord, obedience ceases to be a burden.
Obedience becomes a delight. When we love the Lord, we seek less for things
that benefit us and turn our hearts toward things that will bless and uplift
others.
What more can i say? In closing let me just throw one more quote at you,
´´We see ourselves in terms of yesterday and today. Our Heavenly Father sees
us in terms of forever. Although we might settle for less, Heavenly Father
won’t, for He sees us as the glorious beings we are capable of becoming. ´´
Love the Lord, give your all, and never live with regrets. May you all
continue to rise up to the fullness of the blessing you have, i pray, in the
name of Jesus Cristo, amem
