Yep, just made a year today...no big deal. We got done eating a a churrascoria
and now i´m trying to write super quick before returning home tonight. Still
have alot of work in front of us actually. And the rest of the week isn't in
anyway going to slow down. Service projects, conference, interviews, baptisms
and one random milkshake party (just to mention a few)
What is everyone else gunna eat for lunch today:
Random notes this week
I saw a plane, that's kinda like a first
The missionary lunch calendar here this month is absolutely amazing with a
picture of me pimenta and the sisters all dressed up at Sao Joao (glad the
picture didnt scare anyone off)
Me and my come were working with a member yesterday when we saw a monkey
jumping across the power lines. A rather normal sight but my comp still felt
like asking So, do they not get shocked: The member was like no no they´re
totally fine. And so yeah w;e we moved along. But, not 5 seconds latter you
hear a screech and turn to see the tiny monkey fall a good six feet onto a tin
roof. I´m sorry but...it was actually pretty funny.
I´ve been playing soccer all day and will play tonight too....crazy awesome.
I think for sure the funnest part of my week tho was giving the training to
all the 20 or so ward missionaries of Estancia. I started out the entire thing
talk about wat i said in my email last week and about the actual calling of
being a ward missionary. Then, i told them i wanted to give them one other
´´callin´´ and i had everyone move the chairs out to the side and so we made
a circle in the room. From here this turned into one of my natural favorites,
The Human Knot. So without telling everyone i had the connect hands and such
and had them undo it. then again to break their last time. Naturally
everyone had a blast.
Setting back down i asked what we could learn from all this. Some of my
favorite answer came in the form of, Teamwork, Planing, Communication, and i
wish i could remember all the others i put on the board. Further expounding
upon these i then went into the importance of enduring to the end in all
these aspects. And brought in the story of the marathon runner from Taiwan
(whose name i can´not remember at the moment.) And them my comp rapped it up.
And then he handed it back to me and i tried to wrap it back up again but we
kinda realized that there just wasn´t away because neither one of us were in
the mood to stop bearing testimony of such a glorious work we have before us.
i Finally said, We could talk about this all night,a nd it would be wonderful
to continue feeling this Spirit, but i want all of you to remember how your
feeling right now as we close with oraçao agora and guard in your hearts this
vision of the Stake we could have in Estancia. I can assure you it wasn´t me
who was teaching half the time that night, but truthfully, The Spirit.
Well there are others things i´d love to say but i´ve gotta run. I hope
everyone has a great afternoon and don´t forget brasil plays chile tonight,
WATCH IT FOR ME!!! And tell me what happens lol.
From Loin King remember, ´´You are more than you think you are´´ and ´´You
forgot about me when you forgot who you were´´ Never forget who you are and
what you stand for ;-)
