Hey Everyone at home (especially family) We go tracting for the first time this week, and i am scared out of my mind.
I have my message memorized so that both good and bad. Ill know what to say but
i won´t know how to responde.... potentially. Luckly we´ll have quite a few
teachers with us so that won~t be a problem if we really start to stumble. And
not to freak any one out to much but the last group that went prosilighting last
week...saw a dead body on the street before the cops even got to it. (but remain
cool, i´ll be fine)(but pray fir me lol). The temple was great as usual today. We typically go with all the people in our
week (arrival week) which is three seperate districts, and all of us have grown
resonably close as you can imagine. I´m not sure what the rest of p-day is going to include tho because its taking
about a hlaf hour just to obtain a card reader, not including the hour it took
waiting for a computer, but thats alright. I´m sure you´ll find it quite alright. Elder Gallacher is leaving this week, and all tho none of you have heard his
name yet he was a very cool elder whom lived in our old hall ( we changed rooms
this week to the other side of the building so that we could be in the same hall
as the rest of our branch) (i am no longer next door to Cole) )(elder yancey)
But back to Gallacher he was pretty much a awesome exapmle to all of us from just
being so talented in languege music and such to just being down right cool. He
was certainly a mentor to all of us and we will all miss him Ok here is the mail status dad has asked me about twice: We get mail every
day but saturday and sundays however we do get MissionTies.com on saturdays
from the entire week up until about 3pm that saturday. Also i can pick up
MIssionTies.com letters on my P-day (tuesday) directly from Mr Cheny´s. Regular
letters take about 10 days to get here. Fast and testimony meeting was hands down incredible this week, i~m pretty
sure my eye weren´t dry the entire time. I gave my testimony early on- 3rd.
Which ended up being a great blessing because there is no way i would have
gotten through it otherwise. Story´s some of the elders told of back home and
prosalighting just melted my heart and as usual it felt like they were talking
right to me. As our room was talkin about earlier this week, its amazing that a tower of
college boys can be so well mantained with such little to no inforcement. I´m
pretty sure the mission president hasn~t ever even been up past the third floor,
where he lives, before. LIghts are suppose to go off at ten thirty, and the AP
will come around and remind you, but no one makes you do it. ANd yet they
typically do, if elder olson has managaed to write in his journal yet. In fact
the only way for a branch or MTC president to know your breakin rules would be
for you to admit it yourself in your weekly report. I garentee my room would
have thrown so many things out of the window by now if we were in college.
Though lets be honest i did catch a giant spider attatched to a fishing line
the other day after it had flown from window to window, but then they just told
me to drop it back at the window. So technically i didnt throw it. WE do have
trouble at night with talkin i suppose though, if you can imagine that. But
other than that the reverance is stupendous. I´m even doing laundry almost
once a week. Can you believe its almost been a month? And havn~t even gotten to do
anything yet :-O I told the president this week that your MTC months shouldn´t
count and he just laughed, then proceeded to tell me to talk to the Doctor´s
wife for the third time because she has a sister in STL. Oh and what is that
company President Larsen works for? And that Natalie did that internship for?
And that Mr Volker works for? Cause apparently thats who the dad works for and
i totally blanked on the name when he asked which chemical company works out of
stl. The president gave a talk on speaking with the spirit this week and as he loves
to say, ´´if you look with spiritual eyes you can see finger print of all the
authorities on the power point´´ because the all come from Salt Lake. Needless
to say it was everything i need to hear and i soaked up every word of it. Read
the secetion in Prego Meu Evangelho on it as a family, i promise you can apply
it in nearly everythign you do. Well for the most part that sums up my week. Elder Whiteheads sprained ankly
now looks about as bad as mine did at USU this past semester (the pictures of it
arn~t recent ps, its worse than that) I am wondering how your ever going to get
that SD card to me. I love all of you. I think about all you siblings everyday
in talking with all my companions. I~m so glad we can be an eternal family and
of course i´m excited to see you before then too. I lov eyou mom and dad. And
everyone else... i kinda like you, just kidding i love you and miss all of you Uma Abroção Elder Neuberger PS Email me tons!!! aka TRAVIS AND KRISTI LEE!!!
