Hey Everyone

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTI LEE (late i know)!!! Happy Tuesday everyone else. 

Íve had a pretty good day myself, it started out at the temple which was 

gorgeous and a wonderful experience and also included french fries at the 

cafeteria. 

As you know its Pday so its my first day to real get out and see the town Being 

boxed up in the MTC hasn~t been all bad tho~.  Sometimes it does make me feel

a little claustrophobic but with gym every other day there's enough room to stretch 

your legs.  Plus all the teachers are great.Hopefully you~ve gotten my other letter 

by now and that explains most of the first day.  Now that we~re in the swing of 

things we have 2 classes every day one 3 hr and one 4 hr.  Both instructors are 

brasilian and just about a year or two older.  They are fluent enough in English 

and one even quotes movies all the time which makes us all smile.My district is 

made of 10 ppl all of which are headed to Maceio.  My room its self only has 6 of 

the 10, all of which are great.  Unfortunately it makes for some random tangents 

and a lot of laughter but i~m glad for it because it keeps my mind off missing 

home while not taking away from the spirit.  As for portuguese. its coming along 

fine, i~d say i~m ahead of the class.
 

Just about everyday is filled with some kind of devotional or fireside, the 

difference of which i have yet to figure out.  Its a little hard to get enough 

sleep in a bed thats so foreign but i~m just aobut starting to get use to it 

after a week with little sleep.  
 

Mainly tho i can~t wait to get out and start loving the people.  Every 

Brasilian i have met so far is absolutely  amazing, most of them being recent 

converts and have such a strong testimony of Christ and His gospel.  I personally 

learn more each day and i am so blessed to have had a year of institute under my 

belt.  By the way ake sure travis is waking up for Early Morning Seminary because 

it really puts you ahead.Well i can~t think of to much more to write, i hope 

everything is great and that you are all doing well.  I have yet to get a letter, 

which makes me nervous and worried every once in a while sp, write me...please?
